About Us

The Parkway Pet Hospital medical philosophy includes a group practice approach creating a state of the art facility equipped with the most advanced equipment. The group approach will allow the doctors to practice in their specialty and the center to offer more convenient, extended hours..

We are equipped to handle all minor and most major surgical procedures. All animals undergoing surgery receive a preoperative examination which may include diagnostic testing.

To provide optimum health care for your pet we have established Life Stage Wellness Upon request, a written estimate of anticipated fees will be given before initiating any treatment. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding your fees. There is an additional charge for an after-hours emergency. For you convenience, we accept Visa, Discover, Master Card, and American Express.

To help reduce waiting and to enable us to use our time efficiently for the good of our patients, we request that all patients, except emergencies, be seen on an appointment basis during regular office hours. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know as far in advance as possible. To make appointments, please call (619) 463-9151.

Our Office Hours:

Monday-Friday : 7am-7pm
Saturday          : 8am-3pm

An early morning drop-off service is available for you if you are unable to come in during regular office hours. This service is most frequently used by clients who leave their pets with us on their way to work and then pick them up on their way home. After the physical examination, you will be called an advised as to the nature of the problem, recommended treatment and the approximate cost.

If it becomes necessary to hospitalize your pet overnight, please call us after 10:30am the following morning for an update on your pets condition. If there is a sudden change in your pets condition, the doctor will notify you immediately. All dogs and cats hospitalized must be current on their vaccinations and be free of internal or external parasites. Written verification of vaccinations is requested to insure proper protection of your pet. If an emergency occurs during office hours, bring your pet to our hospital immediately. If possible, call us first, so that we may prepare to administer the necessary medical care.
